What if there is inaccurate or incomplete information on my report?
If you believe that something on your report is being reported inaccurately or incompletely, please click here to log into our Applicant Portal and let us know what is inaccurate on your report. Specify what is inaccurate or incomplete, and send any supporting documentation you may have. For further assistance or questions, please contact us at 844-524-3275.
What if the information is accurate, but I have turned my life around? I have more context to share.
We understand that criminal records do not tell the whole story. You have the right to submit a more detailed explanation of the circumstances surrounding your record(s) to the company you applied with. Reach out to that company to provide them with additional information.
What if my case was dismissed, or far in the past? Should it still appear on my report?
Federal and State laws determine what kind of records or violations are reportable, and for how long. For Transportation Network Companies (TNC), like Uber and Lyft, there are no restrictions on reporting convictions (including marijuana possession).
Checkr does not make this determination. See our article on dismissed cases for more information.
